Wednesday, May 9, 2007 Upcoming shows: Dear Friends of James Gilchrist & Julie Sherwood, Here's a quick reminder of our show this Friday at Lululemon's! PERFORMING FRIDAY, 5/11 FROM 4 - 6 PM (Note: new time!) LULULEMON ATHLETICA ![]() (Click the pictures in our newsletters to visit websites!) Julie & James perform again at Lululemon Athletica,a wonderful yoga center, clothing boutique and much more! Located in the heart of Lincoln Square across the street from Julliard, Lululemon believes in infusing all who enter with positive energy. To this end they have recently begun a local musician performance series, treating their customers and passersby alike with live acoustic and "unplugged" performances. It's relaxing, uplifting, free and close by - don't miss it! Thanks To... Bethany Burgess-Smith, Betsy Summers, Nicki Emerich , Corey, Casey & all the folks at The Pistarckle Theater and everyone who attended their First Annual Student Shakespeare Festival & Renaissance Faire last Friday in St. Thomas, USVI. The day was a great success with seven schools and more than 100 students participating. Julie and I promoted the day (and played "Fishing Town") on the air at WSTA, Lucky 13 - 1340 AM radio on Addie Ottley's morning show on Thursday. Thanks Addie! The Renaissance Faire was also well-attended and included a treasure hunt followed by a "knighting" ceremony for kids, games, costume and hat making booths, tarot card readers PLUS "reenactments" of some Shakespeare scenes by some of the students. Julie and I performed our music before The Sun Kings (a local cover band) went on at 8 pm - thanks to Steve and the band for sharing their gear with us! See the online article in the Daily News (of the Virgin Islands!) that talks about the event here. Also be sure to check out SOME of the pictures taken during our Caribbean sojourn on our Pictures page (www.sharethelightproductions.com/pictures) - we'll be adding more pics soon, including shots taken of our own Shakespeare scenes from Taming Of The Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing!
