Dear Friends of James Gilchrist & Julie Sherwood,
Happy holidays everyone! Whatever you are celebrating this season we hope you are able to make time to spend with family, friends and most importantly, yourself! Be especially kind to yourself during the sometimes crazed and stress-inducing weeks ahead - you'll thank yourself and so will those closest to you! You never know what good will come of allowing yourself some spiritual time. For example, while WE were spending time with OURSELVES this month, we came up with our new performing persona (and we're very pleased with it!)
We've decided to call ourselves “Awen” – the word awen comes from the Welsh and in many Celtic traditions is believed to equate to "sacred inspiration or wisdom that comes to us via the spiritual realm." Our new name helped us discover our new logo and our "Out Of The Blue" album cover! You can see it at www.awensong.com/music.
We'll be in Florida this weekend, spending time visiting with James' mom but we'll return next weekend to Creative Light. We would dearly love all of our friends to experience this wonderful spiritual center on a regular basis! If you haven't visited yet (or if you have), this month there is a special opportunity to enjoy what Creative Light has to offer PLUS get a concert besides!
